Hua Zhang is a professor of College of Environmental Science and Engineering at Tongji University. Her research mainly focuses on intelligent identification, thermal treatment and beneficial utilization of solid waste. As a PI, she has been responsible for several R&D projects supported by central government. She is an associate editor of “Journal of the Air & Waste Management Association”, managing editor of “Waste Management”, and member of Youth editorial board for “Carbon Research” and “Biochar”.
